Annual membership of $20 is valid for the current financial year. (1 July – 30 June)
Membership can either be made each year, or there is an option for setting up an automatically recurring payment.

Buddies Refugee Support Group Ltd (Buddies) is a not-for-profit public company limited by guarantee that is established to be a charity under the Australian Charities and Not-for profit Commission Act 2012 (Cth). A copy of the Buddies’ constitution is available here.

Membership of Buddies is for the financial year. A person immediately stops being a member if they have not renewed their membership within 3 months of it expiring. (Section 15 of the constitution).

In the event that the company is wound up and existing funds do not cover debts or winding up costs, current members and those who ceased membership in the previous year will be required to contribute an amount of $10 ("The guarantee, Section 4 of constitution).
