Organised by Buddies member Jessica and her 11 year old daughter Zoe, the Kid's Market at Mooloolah saw a community of children raise funds for fresh water wells in Uganda. Humbled to be invited to join the Market, Buddies were welcomed to hold a stall, where Young Buddies members;

sold hand-made arts and crafts,

homemade cupcakes

had the banner of hope and message board signed

jelly bean raffle

books for sale

had petition signing for the just treatment of asylum-seekers and refugees in Australia, and most significantly, a table for people, and young children, to write letters and make bracelets for people in offshore detention centres such as Manus.

The day was spectacular, and much fun was had. Funds were raised by Zoe and friends, and additionally, funds were also raised by Young Buddies members for Buddies involvement with asylum-seekers and refugees. Thank you Zoe and Jessica for the day.
